Mississippi
Mississippi used its Real Choice Systems Change Grant to develop person-centered planning approaches. Funding stopped in 2004, however due to the success of the program, Mississippi has used state money for YIT to continue person-centered planning.

Expert Recommendations:
Tunnels and Cliffs Report
Use individual treatment plans to drive post-instruction and strategies to continue the transition process post-school. Link the plans across systems to identify common goals, objectives, categories and outcomes.

Ohio White Paper Report
Create a youth center with recreational options, leadership classes, life skills classes and mental health and substance abuse counseling.
